Guidelines for Visiting Nakagusuku Castle Ruins
At Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, we ask for your cooperation so that all visitors may enjoy a safe and pleasant experience. The following rules and restrictions are in place.
Prohibited Activities
- 1: When bringing pets, please carry them in your arms or place them inside a cage while within the castle grounds.
- 2: Damaging, defacing, or soiling the ruins or related facilities.
- 3: Cutting or removing trees, plants, flowers, fruits, or seeds.
- 4: Collecting or piling soil, stones, or plant material.
- 5: Capturing or killing animals.
- 6: Entering areas marked "No Entry."
- 7: Driving vehicles outside designated roads or parking areas.
- 8: Posting notices, advertisements, or distributing flyers.
- 9: Using open flames, including bonfires, gas stoves, or oil stoves.
- 10: Camping, including the setting up of tents.
- 11: Creating loud noises or using audio equipment that disturbs other visitors.
- 12: Smoking inside the facility (a designated smoking area is provided near the parking lot).
- 13: Disposing of garbage within the grounds (please take your trash home).
- 14: Playing ball games such as baseball or soccer.
- 15: Engaging in any act that endangers safety or interferes with the proper use of the site.
Prohibited Iterns
- * Firearms, swords, and similar items (including replica guns, air guns, wooden or bamboo swords, and imitation blades).
- * Fireworks, explosives, large amounts of gas, oils, or fuels.
- * Bicycles and similar items (including unicycles, roller skates, inline skates, skateboards, kick scooters, and roller shoes).
- * Boomerangs, bows and arrows, slingshots, remote-controlled aircraft, drones, etc.
- * Golf clubs, baseball bats, and balls of any kind.
- * Any other items deemed by management staff to pose a risk of harm, damage, or disruption.
Restrictions on Access
Access to certain areas may be restricted in the following cases.
- * When required due to events or scheduled activities.
- * When entry is deemed unsafe due to adverse weather conditions such as typhoons.
Activities Requiring Prior Permission
The following activities require advance approval from the 'Nakagusuku Castle Remain Collaborative management Council'. Activities lacking public benefit or unrelated to the park will not be permitted.
- * Photography or filming for profit, or where fees are collected.
- * Selling or distributing goods.
- * Exclusive use of all or part of the ruins for competitions, assemblies, exhibitions, etc.
- * Fundraising, petitioning, surveys, or research on plang and animals.
- * Events with public participation announced in advance.
- * Posting signs, banners, or similar displays within the site.
